Technical Support Representative

Salary: $137,000 - 177,000 per year Requirements:

• An associate degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent practical experience
• At least 3 years of related technical experience
• Solid grasp of fundamental mechanical principles and AC/DC electrical theory
• Strong customer service orientation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a professional, technical style
• Active listening and sound judgment under pressure
• In-depth knowledge of inverter and solar plus battery systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools
• Leadership capability and collaborative team skills
• Ability to explain technical concepts to audiences with varying levels of expertise
• Capacity to work independently and make customer- and company-focused decisions
• Advanced troubleshooting ability with a creative approach to problem solving
• Strong understanding of system integration and device programming

• Handle inbound calls and email inquiries from dealer technicians, addressing standard through complex questions
• Deliver clear, accurate, and detailed call notes and case documentation
• Resolve a broad mix of routine and complex technical issues
• Log and track unfamiliar problems for further investigation
• Troubleshoot with dealer technicians to close increasingly complex field product issues
• Collect and prepare failure documentation and recommend appropriate actions
• Conduct on-site troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repairs when needed
• Monitor and analyze product failure patterns and trends
• Train new dealer technicians on our warranty systems and electronic claim submission process
• Make warranty concession decisions within assigned authority
• Mentor less experienced technical service representatives
• Act as a technical authority for the team and handle escalated cases
• Recommend product or documentation improvements based on recurring issues
