Travel RN – CVICU (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend and Every Other Holiday

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an 18-bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit at a 2:1 patient ratio
• Manage critical care patients including those requiring open heart post-operative care and neurological monitoring
• Operate and monitor advanced hemodynamic support devices including intra-aortic balloon pumps
• Manage ICP drains and other critical care interventions in accordance with unit protocols
• Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
• Float to other units as required based on facility need

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in Pennsylvania (or compact license)
• Minimum 1–2 years of CVICU experience in a hospital setting
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with open heart surgical cases
• Neurological critical care experience including ICP drain management
• Familiarity with intra-aortic balloon pump management
