As a Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse, you will be essential in providing exceptional patient care. You will collaborate with a dedicated team in a 23-bed unit, striving for optimal patient outcomes. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering direct patient care with a 1:6 ratio, adjusting to a 1:5 ratio during weekday day shifts
- Floating to the Progressive Care Unit for Medical-Surgical assignments as required
- Ensuring accurate and timely documentation through the EPIC charting system
- Following trauma level 3 protocols and procedures
- Working with the healthcare team to create and execute patient care plans
To qualify for this position, you will need:
- A valid RN license
- BLS (AHA or ARC) and NIHSS certifications
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar setting
- The ability to work every other weekend and up to 2 additional mandatory shifts every 6 weeks
