Financial Controller

Finance ControllerThe Financial Controller is responsible for leading the company's accounting operations, financial reporting, internal controls, and month-end close while ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and company policies. This position plays a critical leadership role within a manufacturing environment by partnering with operations, supply chain, procurement, engineering, and executive leadership to improve financial performance, strengthen controls, and support strategic decision-making.The Controller will oversee the day-to-day accounting functions, manage the accounting team, maintain accurate financial records, and ensure timely reporting while driving continuous process improvements and ERP optimization.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & AccountingPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.Manage month-end and year-end close processes.Coordinate internal and external audits.Budgeting & Financial PlanningLead annual budgeting and forecasting.Perform variance analysis and financial modeling.Monitor cash flow and liquidity.Internal Controls & Risk ManagementMaintain internal controls and compliance.Assess financial risks and implement mitigation plans.Team Leadership & DevelopmentLead and develop accounting staff.Drive continuous improvement initiatives.Qualifications & RequirementsEducation & ExperienceBachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or Business Administration; CPA preferred.7+ years of progressive accounting/finance experience including leadership experience.Manufacturing experience preferred.Skills & CompetenciesERP systems and advanced Excel proficiency.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent leadership and communication skills.
