Location: Apple Valley, California

Job Description:
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 13-week assignment at an acute care hospital in Apple Valley, California. This opportunity is ideal for therapists looking to expand their acute care experience in a collaborative hospital environment.

Shift Details:

Day Shift - 5x8s
Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Responsibilities:

Evaluate and treat patients requiring occupational therapy services in an acute care setting
Develop individualized treatment plans to improve patient mobility, function, and independence
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and rehabilitation teams
Educate patients and families regarding therapy goals and discharge planning
Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and therapy standards

Requirements:

Minimum 1 year of OT experience required
Active California OT License required
BLS certification required
First-time travelers accepted
Strong communication and patient care skills preferred
