CAPITAL PROJECT MANAGER

Position Title: CAPITAL PROJECT MANAGER Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 Pay Grade: 15 This position is eligible for an Employee Referral Bonus. Job Summary Responsible for the planning, design, and implementation of capital projects at the Mt. Vernon site. Key Responsibilities Plan, design, and implement capital projects for Mt. Vernon site. Coordinate parallel activities, achieve project schedule with minimal disruptions, allocate resources, and manage activities to meet objectives. Understand customer and stakeholder requirements and communicate scope and deliverables across organizational boundaries. Apply knowledge of pharmaceutical facilities and engineering best practices, ensuring appropriate resources are incorporated into design and execution. Ensure construction projects comply with safety, regulatory, legal, and company requirements. Develop scope, cost, and schedule; complete documentation for project approval. Communicate and collaborate with AE firms, contractors, vendors, and internal groups for construction, qualification, and startup activities. Achieve cost-effective outcomes through design guidelines, value engineering, life cycle costing, and engineering best practices. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with approved scope. Partner with site SHE to ensure engineering activities meet environmental and safety standards. Maintain a safe work environment by enforcing site SHE policies. Support the Change Control process for Capital Projects. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline. Experience in conceptual development, planning and scheduling, design, and implementation of major capital projects. Experience in the pharmaceutical industry and related regulatory, engineering, and construction techniques. Professional certifications preferred. Experience working with regulatory agencies and negotiating contracts with engineering contractors, vendors, and government agencies. Knowledge of validation and qualification principles, project management, and change control principles. Ability to perform financial analysis for manufacturing decisions. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Experience developing initiatives and gaining support across organizational levels. High proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
