Business Information Analyst Senior

Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week fostering collaboration and connectivity while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.

The Business Information Analyst Senior analyzes complex and varied business data develops reports and provides actionable recommendations based on key performance metrics. This position primarily supports multiple state Medicaid programs by preparing and submitting weekly monthly quarterly and annual regulatory reports. The role also responds to state inquiries regarding reported data and may provide technical guidance to less-experienced team members.

How you will make an Impact:

• Creates and maintains databases to track business performance.
• Analyzes data and summarizes performance using summary statistical procedures.
• Develops and analyzes business performance reports (e.g. for claims data provider data utilization data) and provides notations of performance deviations and anomalies.
• Develop and analyze business performance reports involving claims provider utilization and other healthcare data.
• Identify investigate and document performance deviations trends and data anomalies.
• Prepare and publish recurring regulatory reports as well as ad hoc reports and analyses
• Translate complex business and regulatory requirements into effective diagnostic tracking and decision-support tools.
• Develop data-driven recommendations that support business decisions and regulatory compliance.
• Provide analytical consultation to business partners leadership and external stakeholders.
• Analyze and report on large complex datasets requiring advanced technical and analyticaljudgment.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BS/BA degree in related field and a minimum of 3 years data analysis or related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills Experience and Capabilities:

• Advanced SQL and Tableau highly preferred.
• Experience with reporting and query tools such as SSIS SSRS EDM Snowflake or Python is preferred.
• Experience with relational databases and knowledge of query tools and statistical software is strongly preferred.
• Ability to manipulate large sets of data strongly preferred.
• Strong analytical organizational presentation and problem solving skills strongly preferred.
• Healthcare industry and Medicaid experience preferred
