Bark Barbecue is opening a second 8,700 sq. ft. flagship destination in the heart of North Brooklyn (East Williamsburg/Bushwick) and is seeking hospitality professionals to join our opening team.
This is an opportunity to be part of an industry-leading buildout from the ground up, helping shape the systems, culture, and standards of a high-volume restaurant focused on exceptional barbecue, hospitality, and craftsmanship.
Position: Host / Reservationist
Hosts and Reservationists play a critical role in creating a welcoming first impression for guests while managing reservations, waitlists, guest flow, and seating throughout service. This position helps ensure a smooth and organized guest experience from arrival to departure.
Ideal Candidates
• Previous host, reservationist, restaurant, or hospitality experience preferred
• Warm, engaging, and committed to creating memorable guest experiences
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
• Comfortable managing reservations, waitlists, guest flow, and busy service periods while remaining calm and hospitable under pressure
• Experience with reservation platforms is a plus; additional language skills, including Spanish or Brazilian Portuguese, are a plus but not required
