Data Management Governance Consultant

EPSI Worx is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join our client's team.

Job Description:

Operationalize the FEHRM's Data Management Plan from a coordination and stakeholder management perspective. Convert the goals, objectives, and strategies in The Plan into executable activities such as by coordinating and codifying data management working groups. Engage with the JEC to ensure alignment between FEHRM and JEC approaches to data management. Orchestrate the operation of a data management body to recommend policies, standards, and guidelines for defining, managing, approving and distributing data. Apply a broad range of general management consulting skills and prior experience in standing-up and optimizing governance bodies from an organizational design and process perspective. Engage with technical stakeholders within the Departments and joint bodies to identify potential data management issues. Seek to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of joint data management governance processes, methods and supporting tools.

Requirements:

Minimum qualifications:

• 4+ years of professional work experience
• Consulting experience in creating designing and documenting processes and the creation of standard operating procedures
• Ability to work in a team-setting and independently
• Attention to detail
• Systems thinking – ability to categorizes their thoughts and thinks through implications
• Effective writing and communication skills
• Performs research, writing and editing, including the writing and editing of project products to established government standards for the targeted science and lay audiences, proofreading of draft and final documents
• Master's degree in a Healthcare, Science, Computer Engineering or related scientific, technical, or clinical discipline or an additional 8 years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience with implementing Electronic Health Records
• VA experience preferred
