You’ll work closely with experienced team members to deliver high-quality solutions and help clients navigate complex payroll challenges.This role is ideal for someone with strong payroll knowledge who enjoys problem-solving, working with clients, and building expertise across different industries and systems.**What You’ll Do*** Support payroll consulting engagements across a range of clients, industries, and geographies* Assist in assessing and improving client payroll processes, controls, and procedures* Perform multistate payroll compliance reviews, including federal, state, and local regulations* Support payroll tax activities, including preparation and review of forms (e.g., 941, 941-X, W-2C)* Assist with payroll setup and configuration, including earnings, deductions, and tax treatments* Analyze payroll data to identify discrepancies, risks, and opportunities for improvement* Support reviews related to employee classification, wage treatment, and overtime calculations* Research and apply payroll regulations, including reciprocity and other multistate considerations* Collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver timely, accurate, and high-quality work* Communicate payroll concepts and findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences* Contribute to project deliverables and ensure work is completed on time and aligned with expectations**What You Bring*** 3-5 years of payroll experience, ideally within a consulting firm, payroll provider, or in-house payroll function* Strong understanding of payroll processes, compliance requirements, and multistate regulations* Experience with payroll tax forms and filings* Familiarity with payroll systems such as ADP, Workday, SAP, Oracle/PeopleSoft, Paycom, Paycor, or similar platforms* Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification strongly preferred (or in progress)* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools* Strong written and verbal communication skills* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team-oriented environment* Bachelor’s degree in, Accounting, Human Resources, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)**How You’ll Succeed*** Build and apply technical payroll knowledge across a variety of client situations* Take a proactive, detail-oriented approach to delivering high-quality work* Collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive team environment* Stay current on payroll regulations and industry trends* Demonstrate responsiveness and a strong commitment to client service**Why Join Us**You’ll have the opportunity to grow your payroll expertise while working alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative, client-focused environment. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of relevant factors including but not limited to applicant’s skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements and geographic location.
