Job Posting: Medical Assistant – Midtown Atlanta Clinic

Location: Midtown Atlanta, GA
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Position Overview

A mission-driven non-profit healthcare organization is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) to join a busy outpatient clinic located in Midtown Atlanta. This role supports a collaborative care team providing high-quality, accessible healthcare to pediatric and adult patients in a fast-paced primary care environment.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced MA who is patient-focused, dependable, and comfortable working in a team-based clinical setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain and record vital signs accurately in the EHR system
• Prepare exam rooms and ensure proper sterilization of instruments and equipment
• Assist providers with examinations, minor procedures, and in-office treatments
• Administer injections and immunizations as directed by clinical staff
• Collect and process lab specimens, including blood draws and point-of-care testing
• Update and maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
• Support patient flow and ensure a smooth, efficient clinic operation
• Provide patient education and assist with follow-up care instructions

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (diploma or official transcripts required)
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Medical Assistant preferred
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Strong communication and patient care skills
• Experience with EHR systems preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment

Preferred Experience

• Pediatrics or family medicine experience strongly preferred
• Prior outpatient clinic or multi-provider practice experience
• Familiarity with routine in-office procedures and immunizations
