Direct message the job poster from One80 Intermediaries We’re seeking a Personal Lines Underwriter to develop and maintain sales representative, agent, and broker relationships. The Access One80 team intakes submissions from every state from over 21,000 retail agencies via a class leading portal. This position is a hybrid role based out of Colorado Springs, CO and will help our distribution partners place Excess and Surplus policies for a wide variety of classes. Your Impact: Ensures all submissions are effectively managed to reach decline or quoting status within a defined service level agreement. Necessary interaction with carriers and producers to gather needed information in an organized manner. Determines the pricing, coverages and exclusions for each submission. Responsible for reviewing and responding to back-end underwriting reviews and new business audits. Documents underwriting decisions within standards and expectations. Provides reports necessary to perform underwriting analysis. Follows up on open quotes. Successful Candidates Will Have: 3-5 years of personal lines insurance underwriting experience required. 1-2 years of wholesale distribution experience strongly preferred. Must possess the ability to appropriately apply loss development and advanced loss analysis concepts to achieve optimal pricing of a risk and creatively utilize coverage features, deductibles, or reinsurance on individual risks to achieve company objectives. Proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Outlook and Excel required. A digital MGA, Access One80 focuses on commercial and personal lines on an E&S basis.
