Weekend On-Call Registered Nurse, RN $70,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience The Caris HealthCare Weekend On-Call Registered Nurse is scheduled to work on weekends. The RN is responsible for nursing care of patients according to physician orders, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans. The On-Call RN may resolve some issues by phone, but many weekend calls will require a visit. The On-Call RN must be available for work-related phone calls during scheduled weekend work hours and answer them promptly unless assisting a patient or on a call with a patient/family. Qualifications Registered Nurse licensed in the state of operation. Experience in hospice or home health preferred. Solid knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and patient family teaching.
