As an HR Recruiter you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and interviewing job applicants to fill exempt and non‑positions in a timely manner with highly qualified candidates. This is an on‑site (Bakersfield, California) in office Monday-Friday, full time position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and maintain strong working relationships with company leaders, vendors, community organizations, and other team members to create a partnership that yields success, predictable results and credibility. Maintain accurate candidate data in applicant tracking system. Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified leaders. Leverage online recruiting resources and in-house prospects to identify and recruit the very best candidates. Create and foster relationships with colleges and diverse professional organizations to attract and recruit alumni and diversity candidates. Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements. Provide complete, accurate, and inspiring information to candidates about the company and position. Prescreens candidates by checking references and background checks. Create and present prescreening questions to hiring managers for collaboration and approval. Interviews all candidates presented for detailed interviewing by hiring managers, includingthe use of various interviewing methodologies. Prepares candidates for interviewing with specific hiring managers by providing detailed information on the company, our business strategy, department background, job descriptions, and expectation‑setting. Discusses hiring needs with department/branch managers to prepare and implement recruitment program. Attends and represents the company at college career days and other recruitment events. Corresponds with job applicants to notify them of employment consideration. Projects yearly recruitment expenditures for budgetary control. Performs all other duties as assigned. The employee may occasionally be exposed to working near moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
