Production Associate Cold Storage
Location: Auburndale, FL (33823) Schedule: Monday - Friday, 4:00 PM - 11:30 PM Contract Duration: Approximately 71 weeks (2,848 total hours), 40 hours per week
Our client, a leading meat production and distribution company, is seeking dependable and detail-oriented Production Associates to support daily meat production operations in a cold storage environment. This role is responsible for accurately preparing, weighing, packaging, and storing meat products to meet customer specifications while maintaining quality and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Pack, weigh, label, and prepare meat products for customer orders
- Store and organize products accurately within designated production and storage areas
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the production area
- Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures
- Work efficiently in a cold storage environment
- Assist team members with production tasks as needed
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work in refrigerated/cold storage environments
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds with team assistance
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to perform repetitive lifting, bending, reaching, and carrying
About the Role
This is a full-time, onsite industrial position supporting production operations for a well-established food distribution business. Interviews will be conducted in person. No specialized equipment is required for this role. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking steady, hands-on work in a structured production environment.
