Operate imaging equipment, ensure high‑quality diagnostic images, and follow ALARA radiation‑safety practices. Prepare patients, position them appropriately, explain procedures, and assist with contrast administration as indicated. Maintain accurate documentation in the EPIC EMR and collaborate with IR team members to coordinate care. Rotate across sites as needed and participate in rotating on‑call duties; comply with weekend requirements. Ensure pediatric patients are not included; adhere to site‑specific policies and patient safety standards. Requirements Active MA license (Massachusetts) for radiologic technologists; submission requires license. ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required at time of submittal. Current BLS (AHA) certification required; flu vaccine during season. Minimum 3 years of Interventional Radiology experience; travel experience and EPIC EMR experience required. Ability to perform 10‑hour shifts; rotating weekends and on‑call duties; must be able to work at multiple IR sites as needed.
