Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel ```html Registered Nurse (RN) General Information Number of Beds: 7 Pre/Post Bays, 2 Procedural Suites Accepting travelers with 1 year of experience First-time travelers accepted with at least 2 years of experience Patient Types Experience with the following patient types is required: Outpatient and Inpatient Biopsies UFE’s Kyphoplasties Port placements Diagnostic angiograms Interventional arterial procedures Interventional venous procedures IVC placement Venous thrombectomies Neurological thrombectomies Coiling Aneurysm rupture repair Paracentesis Thoracentesis Patient Ratios 1:1 in procedure rooms Up to 1:3 in the pre/post area Required Certifications BLS ACLS NIHSS Required Skills ICU care Moderate sedation Arterial line management Medication titration Chest tube management Neuro experience, including thrombectomies, aneurysm coils, and carotid stents Support on the Unit Charge nurse available 1 RN and 2-3 Techs in each procedural room Technology and Equipment EMR: Cerner IV Pumps: Plum 360 Medication Dispensing: Omnicell Monitors: Spacelabs Floating Staff may float to other procedural areas as long as skillset applies (e.g., cath lab pre/post area).
