Help Build a World-Class Maintenance Inventory System

Are you highly organized, detail-oriented, and enjoy hands-on work? We're looking for a Temporary Spare Parts Inventory Specialist to lead a critical inventory improvement project within our manufacturing facility. This six-month assignment offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact by creating an accurate, well-organized spare parts inventory that helps keep our operations running efficiently.

Position Summary

As a Temporary Spare Parts Inventory Specialist, you will be responsible for auditing, counting, organizing, and documenting our maintenance spare parts inventory. You will work closely with the Maintenance team to ensure all critical equipment components are accurately identified, labeled, and entered into our Limble CMMS system.

Your efforts will directly support equipment reliability, maintenance efficiency, and operational uptime.

Schedule & Duration

• Position Type: Temporary Contract
• Duration: 6 Months (Approximately 26 Weeks / 1,040 Hours)
• Schedule: Full-Time, 40 Hours Per Week
• Work Location: On-site Manufacturing Facility

Key Responsibilities

Inventory Auditing & Counting

• Conduct detailed physical counts of spare parts, bearings, motors, valves, mechanical components, and maintenance supplies.
• Verify inventory quantities and reconcile discrepancies.
• Identify missing, damaged, duplicate, or obsolete inventory items.

Organization & Storage Optimization

• Sort, categorize, and organize inventory for efficient retrieval.
• Improve storage layouts and inventory accessibility.
• Maintain clean, orderly, and clearly identified stockroom locations.

Labeling & Documentation

• Apply consistent labels, tags, and barcodes to parts and storage locations.
• Ensure part information is accurate and easily identifiable.
• Assist in establishing inventory organization standards and best practices.

Data Entry & System Updates

• Accurately enter inventory data into Limble CMMS.
• Record part numbers, descriptions, quantities, criticality levels, and minimum/maximum stock levels.
• Verify system accuracy against physical inventory counts.

Reporting

• Report inventory discrepancies and improvement opportunities to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Provide regular progress updates throughout the project.
• Support final inventory validation and project completion activities.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, manufacturing, maintenance, or spare parts management.
• Previous experience performing inventory audits or cycle counts.
• Familiarity with industrial equipment parts and maintenance supplies is a plus.

Technical Skills

• Basic computer proficiency and data entry skills.
• Ability to learn inventory and maintenance management systems quickly.
• Experience with Limble CMMS or similar software is beneficial but not required. Training will be provided.
