Bookkeeper

Job Summary Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Legal Bookkeeper to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary of $80,000 to $100,000 per year. Responsibilities Manage billing, invoicing, and collection activities while ensuring accurate client account records. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely and accurate manner. Maintain and reconcile client trust accounts in accordance with applicable guidelines and procedures. Perform bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy. Prepare financial reports, cash flow summaries, and payroll related records to support daily operations. Requirements 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience within a legal or professional services environment. Strong proficiency with QuickBooks and other accounting software platforms. Previous experience with legal billing systems and invoice management processes. Knowledge of trust accounting procedures and related recordkeeping requirements. Prior experience processing payroll and maintaining payroll documentation. Qualifications Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate financial records. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong analytical and problem solving abilities when researching discrepancies.
