Licensed Physician Assistants Serving the Communities of the Bronx, Manhattan, and Queens Somos Medical PC is actively seeking Licensed and Board-Certified Physician Assistants (PAs) to join our expanding network of community-based primary care practices across the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Queens. This is a full-time outpatient opportunity where you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive, patient-centered care to diverse populations throughout New York City. Conduct comprehensive health assessments, including medical history and physical examinations. Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions with a focus on prevention and wellness. Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and procedures as appropriate. Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians. Educate patients regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and preventive healthcare measures. Prescribe medications and therapies in accordance with New York State regulations and practice guidelines. Identify and refer patients to specialists and ancillary healthcare services as needed. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff to support team-based care. Participate in clinical operations and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and care delivery. Qualifications Must hold a current New York State Physician Assistant License. Must be NCCPA Certified. BLS certification preferred. Excellent communication skills, bedside manner, professionalism, and organizational abilities. Intermediate computer skills with experience using electronic health records (EHRs). Bilingual or multilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
