As an Office Assistant supporting the owner of an Interior Design office, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Your tasks will encompass managing furniture orders, coordinating delivery schedules, maintaining client communications, handling invoicing through basic software, and performing general office duties with flexibility in hours.

Responsibilities

• Manage ordering and procurement of furniture
• Schedule and track deliveries efficiently
• Communicate with clients to provide updates and information
• Handle invoicing using basic invoicing software
• Maintain inventory tracking and record keeping
• Coordinate follow-ups to ensure timely completion
• Schedule appointments and manage calendar
• Perform general administrative and office support tasks

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in office administration
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Strong customer service skills
• Experience with invoicing software
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Effective communication and scheduling abilities
