Radiologic Technologist PRN

Role Overview: Performs radiographic procedures requiring a strong understanding of anatomical positioning and physiology, demonstrating high technical competency with minimal supervision. Applies ionizing radiation for diagnostic imaging in adult and pediatric radiology. Key Responsibilities: Conducts medical X-ray exams to produce images of specific body parts for diagnostic purposes, which are interpreted by physicians for disease diagnosis and monitoring. Qualifications & Skills: Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program. Zero to two years of modality-specific experience. Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 6 months of hire. Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred. Additional Information: Requires sound technical knowledge, initiative, and ingenuity, with the ability to work independently.
