FlexNet (Flexera) Implementation Lead

Overview Term: Contract Provide technical and operational support for enterprise software license infrastructure and vendor-managed licensing environments to ensure availability, license compliance, and user provisioning. Responsibilities 1. Solution Design & Implementation Design, develop, and maintain solutions on FlexNet Operations (FNO) and FlexNet Embedded (FNE). Architect and implement FlexNet Operations (FNO), FlexNet Embedded (FNE), or FlexNet Manager Suite (FNMS) based on organizational SAM needs. Design and implement licensing workflows, entitlement management, and product packaging. Integrate FlexNet with ERP, CRM, and cloud-based applications. 2. Integration & Platform Management Build and maintain integrations with ERP, CRM, cloud platforms, and internal applications. Oversee server setup, Beacon configuration, database preparation, and agent deployment for FNMS environments. Administer license portals, cloud license managers, remote dongles, and entitlement systems. 3. Operations & Troubleshooting Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in licensing and entitlement systems. Ensure compliance, scalability, and performance of FlexNet implementations. Perform license file updates, reauthentication, and configuration changes for renewals and vendor licensing models. Conduct monthly license hygiene and cleanup based on usage and compliance reporting. 4. Security & Access Management Administer cloud-based license managers and manage user provisioning within license portals. Manage remote dongles and other licensing mechanisms. Ensure secure authentication using SSO/SAML/OAuth for Flexera integrations. Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions. Work with ITAM, Infrastructure, and Deployment teams to ensure system availability and continuity. Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and architectural guidance. Drive continuous SAM processes, automation, and data quality improvements. Qualifications Hands-on experience with FNMS, FlexNet Operations (FNO), FlexNet Embedded (FNE) Strong understanding of software licensing models, entitlement management, and monetization strategies Proficiency in APIs, scripting, SQL, IIS, and multi-OS environments Hybrid environment design experience (containerized platforms like AKS/EKS preferred for senior roles) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Experience with integration platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi, etc.) PowerShell, Python, and Bash scripting Data modeling, normalization, and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau) Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, proxies, load balancers) Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders Process flows Mentorship and knowledge transfer to client project team members Contribution to all assigned project deliverables Participation in data conversion and maintenance Best practice and industry solution recommendations Thought leadership and hands-on configuration/development #J-18808-Ljbffr Net2Source (N2S)
