Key Responsibilities

• Review and screen cytology slides, with a capacity of up to 50–60 slides per day (up to 300 slides per week)
• Perform cytological analysis using BD FocalPoint and BD SurePath equipment
• Document and report findings accurately within the electronic medical records system
• Adhere to laboratory protocols, quality control standards, and regulatory requirements
• Collaborate with pathology and laboratory staff to ensure timely and accurate results

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Cytotechnology program
• ASCP (CT) certification or equivalent Cytotechnology certificate
• Minimum of 12 months of hands-on Cytotechnology experience
• Proficiency with BD FocalPoint equipment
• Proficiency with BD SurePath equipment
• Valid driver's license

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC EMR system
• Experience with Sunquest laboratory information system
• Professional reference from a charge, supervisor, or director-level contact within the past 24 months
