Adjunct Faculty - College of Nursing - Advanced Pathophysiology Villanova University College of Nursing has an ongoing need for highly qualified part‑time adjunct faculty to provide instruction in the advanced pathophysiology course for graduate nursing students. Posting Details Position Title: Adjunct Faculty – College of Nursing – Advanced Pathophysiology Location: Villanova, PA Recruitment Type: Internal/External Work Schedule: part‑time, 12 months Department: Nursing Duties and Responsibilities Understand course objectives and overall curriculum of the College of Nursing. Provide supervision of students in the classroom (in‑person or online) or clinical setting. For clinical course, visit precepted clinical sites at least twice a semester. Supervise student weekly case presentation groups. Facilitate sound clinical reasoning and critical thinking techniques, developing competent clinical decision‑making skill. Foster communication skills with preceptors and faculty; validate students’ understanding of theory, science, and evidence‑based practice. Evaluate clinical practice and provide feedback using a formal Clinical Evaluation. Guide students in their growth within the nursing profession. Validate students’ understanding of theoretical, scientific and evidence‑based concepts to meet course objectives. Evaluate and provide feedback on achievement of course and clinical objectives. Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree in Nursing or related discipline. Experience in the discipline required. Preferred Qualifications Previous academic teaching experience and willingness to be flexible in fulfilling responsibilities. Doctoral degree preferred.
