Position Summary

Accelerate Therapy and Performance is seeking a PRN Athletic Trainer / Injury Prevention Specialist to support employees in a grocery distribution and warehouse environment.

In this role, you will work directly with warehouse employees whose jobs are physically demanding and repetitive. You will help team members reduce injury risk, improve body mechanics, address early signs of discomfort, and stay safe and productive at work.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on injury prevention work outside of a traditional clinic setting. The right candidate will be comfortable engaging employees throughout the workday, building trust with the onsite team, and providing education and support in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

What You'll Do

As an Injury Prevention Specialist, you will:

• Engage warehouse employees in proactive injury prevention and wellness strategies
• Provide education on body mechanics, stretching, safe movement, and job-specific physical demands
• Help identify and address early signs of discomfort before they become more significant injuries
• Deliver onsite support using established protocols
• Promote a culture of safety, wellness, collaboration, and trust
• Build positive relationships with employees, supervisors, and client partners
• Manage time effectively in a dynamic warehouse/distribution environment
• Document services and communicate appropriately with the team

Qualifications

Qualifications

Candidates must hold an active CPR/AED/First Aid certification and meet one of the following qualifications:

• Certified Athletic Trainer/ATC with an active state license and bachelor's degree
• Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant/PTA an associate's degree
• Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) with an associate's degree
• Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with bachelor's degree
• Exercise Physiologist with a bachelor's degree and certification from a reputable organization
• Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field
• Personal Trainer with a bachelor's degree in exercise science, kinesiology, or a related field and a reputable certification

Additional Qualifications

The ideal candidate will bring:

• At least 2 years of customer service or client-facing experience
• Strong interpersonal and rapport-building skills
• Confidence working independently in an onsite industrial environment
• Professionalism, sound judgment, and strong communication skills
• Proficiency with Google Suite
• Experience working with orthopedic or musculoskeletal conditions preferred

USD $29.00 - USD $32.00 /Hr.
