Position Summary: Applies the appropriate diagnostic and procedural codes to individual patient health information for data retrieval, analysis, and claims processing. Responsibilities include: Assigns accurate ICD diagnosis codes, using compliant documentation. Assigns accurate CPT/HCPCS codes to records, using compliant documentation. Applies knowledge of Coding Guidelines to select the appropriate diagnosis code. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Graduate of a Program in Discipline is required.
