Salary Range $14.00 Hourly Education Level High School Diploma/GED Category Housing

Description

Schedule/Hours: 8 hours per day 40 hours per week including weekends

This position is responsible for:

• Accepts and processes residents staying in lodge/shelter overnight
• Receives and receipts fees received from residents
• Monitors activities of residents during assigned shift
• Maintains accurate and complete records and logs

Key Responsibilities:

• Responds to emergencies in a calm manner and initiates appropriate corrective actions
• Answers telephone and responds to questions regarding the program operations
• Monitors cameras and records unique situations occurring during shift
• Distributes towels, linens, and personal hygiene items

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Work is performed in a lodge/shelter facility where there are little or no physical discomforts with changes in weather.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or G.E.D. AND
• One year experience performing security or social service work preferred OR
• Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
