About the Role:
Clem's Seafood is looking for a skilled Fish Cutter to join our team in the charming coastal town of Southport, NC. Responsibilities:

• Fillet, cut, and portion fresh fish and seafood products to specification
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work station in compliance with food safety standards
• Inspect seafood for quality and freshness before and during processing
• Operate and safely handle knives, cleavers, and other cutting equipment
• Package and label seafood products accurately for retail or wholesale distribution
• Monitor and rotate inventory to ensure product freshness
• Assist with receiving and unloading fresh seafood deliveries

Requirements:

• Prior experience in fish cutting, seafood processing, or a related butchery role preferred
• Strong knife skills and familiarity with a variety of fish and shellfish species
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper handling of perishable products
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in cold, wet environments
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work early morning or flexible hours
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and consistency
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
