Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: PICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in PICU and Children's Client experience within the last 3 years License: Indiana State License required; temporary license acceptable if permanent application has been submitted Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NBRC RRT, NRP, PALS (preferred) Must-Have: Experience in Labor & Delivery (L&D), NICU, or Peds Description: Before submission, candidates must confirm they are comfortable with the every-other-weekend requirement. First-time travelers are accepted. Candidates will primarily work in L&D. All candidates must have experience in either NICU or PICU. Candidates may be assigned to PICU, NICU, or Peds and may float between these specialties as needed. Candidates should possess skills in aerosol setup, mechanical ventilation, and interpretation of arterial blood gases. Floating is required among the identified units. Candidate must have a solid background in respiratory care with proficiency in handling pediatric cases. All certifications must be current and valid prior to the start of the assignment.
