The pay range for this position is $21.12 to $24.58 per hour depending on education and experience. This position is located in Rutland, MA. The available schedule for this position is: Saturday-Tuesday 11pm-9am (Split schedule between two programs) $1,000 Sign-on Bonus Additional $250 Bonus if MAP Certified Devereux - Massachusetts serves students with various complex psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder. Devereux's Fentress program serves males 12-21 with various psychological and behavioral disorders. With 1 staff to 4 students ratio, this program is focused on increasing independence and preparing indivudals to move on from Devereux. As a Direct Support/Care Professional, you will: Be passionate about working with and helping youth. Be responsible for the safety and security of all youth as assigned by providing direct supervision. Provide and ensure therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment. Engage with youth in a meaningful and positive manner, teaching and prompting appropriate behaviors, and providing positive reinforcement for the same. Teach and assist with Activities of Daily (ADL) Living Skills. Possess adequate organizational and communication skills needed to complete required documentation, such as progress notes and incident reports. Learn more about all of our benefits: Benefits and Rewards | Devereux Qualifications Must be 21 years of age or older. Valid driver's license required. High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in related field preferred. Previous experience working with individuals under 21 with psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders, and/or autism spectrum disorders preferred. Must be able to attend a 2-week paid orientation, Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4PM, in Rutland, MA. Must be MAP certified, or able to obtain certification within 6 months of employment.
