Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations of patients' physical abilities, utilizing assessments to inform the development of customized treatment plans that align with individual goals and capabilities.
• Deliver skilled therapy services, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and other modalities, ensuring each session meets the specific needs of our geriatric patients.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress through electronic medical records (EMRs), making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize recovery outcomes.
• Collaborate with a range of healthcare professionals—such as physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists—to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic practices and self-management strategies, enhancing understanding and compliance to foster independence.
• Implement safety measures and fall prevention programs, significantly reducing risks associated with mobility challenges in the assisted living environment.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy by participating in continuing education opportunities that enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Current and active state licensure as a Physical Therapist.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role is competitive, ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
