Registered Nurse (RN) – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days (06:30–18:30) | Onsite | Every other weekend required | Minimum of 2 holidays within contract period

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) serving adult patients with cardiac, vascular, respiratory, renal, oncology, stroke, and sepsis diagnoses
• Titrate IV drips including Heparin, Nitroglycerin, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin per protocol
• Monitor, read, and independently interpret telemetry strips
• Manage and troubleshoot arterial lines and high-flow oxygen equipment
• Float to MedSurg or ICU (PCU-acuity patients) as needed
• Maintain a strong focus on patient experience, medication communication, and responsiveness in a culturally diverse patient population

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Competency with arterial lines
• Ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips
• Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
• Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care areas

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a PCU, stepdown, or IMC setting
• Familiarity with high-flow oxygen therapy and related respiratory equipment
• Experience caring for culturally diverse patient populations
• Flexibility and adaptability with scheduling and unit needs
