Dedicated to excellence, North Star is accredited by The Joint Commission. Details Position: Inpatient Moonlighting - Adult Psychiatrist. Setting: Inpatient care, freestanding behavioral hospital. Needs: 1099 physicians to provide weekend rounding (onsite preferred) and evening call coverage for adult units. Team culture: A collegial, supportive, and caring environment that offers great work/life balance. Coverage: Onsite coverage is highly preferred. Remote or hybrid arrangements considered. Compensation 1099 Independent Contractor preferred. Hourly or shift rates are available. Required Education, Training, and Licensure MD/DO degree from an accredited program. BE or BC General Psychiatry through ABPN. Licensed to practice in the State of AK or the ability to obtain an AK medical license.
