A medical services in Florida is currently seeking a new, licensed Physical Therapist (PT) for a promising opportunity with their growing team in West Palm.In this role, thePhysical Therapist(PT) willberesponsible for the evaluation and treatment of disabilities, injuries, rehabilitation, and diseases as related to functional impairments.

About the Opportunity:

• Setting: Outpatient Orthopedic
• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Hours: 7am to 3am or 8am to 4pm
• Patient Volume: 6 to 8 per day
• EMR: Athena

Responsibilities

ThePhysical Therapist(PT) will:

• Evaluateand treatdisabilities, injuries, and diseases as related to functional impairments
• Helppatient develop or regain physical or mental functioning or adjust to disabilities by implementing programs
• Usea variety of therapeutic techniques to promote functional independence and improve the quality of life for the patient
• Delegatethe plan of care to assistive personnel and monitors quality of care
• Evaluateresults of physical therapy by observing, noting, and evaluating patient's progress; recommendand implementadjustments and modifications
• Maintainsafe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
• Perform other duties, as needed

Qualifications:

• Masters Degree in Physical Therapy
• FL Physical Therapist (PT) license
• BLS certification
• Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
• Patient oriented
• Great interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Strong attention to detail
• Highly organized

Desired Skills:

• 2+ years of Physical Therapy experience
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy
