Responsibilities

Communicates with customers concerning requirements, talks with them regarding other customer service-related concerns...

Acts as liaison between customers and manufacturing and support teams...

Draws up master schedule to establish sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipping dates...

Use system & customer files to:

• Ensure tooling availability
• Coordinate with toolroom for reworks and coatings
• Tooling Manager for tooling builds
• Department input schedules
• Meet weekly input quantities
• Meet weekly LOH targets
• Meet weekly revenue targets
• Analyzes production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations...

  Plans and schedules workflow for each department and operation...

  Plans sequence of fabrication, assembly, installation, and other manufacturing operations...

  Confers with department supervisors to determine status of assigned projects...

  Stay current with planning yields vs standard yields

  Monitors throughput and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions

  Prepares production reports

  Provides schedule/forecast information to purchasing and Engineering to ensure required materials, tools and equipment are in place

  Updates information on computer for perpetual inventory system

  Has custodial support responsibility for the physical inventory

  Provides both short and long term capacity analysis

  Responsible for both near and long term forecasting

  Other duties assigned

Qualifications

EDUCATION: This position requires the minimum of an Associates Degree in production planning, marketing, or business discipline, or equivalent work-related experience

EXPERIENCE : This position requires a minimum of one to three months related experience and/or training.
