Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting elementary students as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA). Work within a collaborative school environment where you’ll serve a caseload of 28-30 students in grades 2 and 3 (ages 7-8), providing essential interventions to help them achieve their communication goals. The assignment takes place at a vibrant elementary school, ensuring each day brings meaningful progress and connection with students and interdisciplinary colleagues.
Your schedule will mirror the school day, with a start time of 7:15 am and end time of 3:15 pm, up to 40 hours per week. Staff start on August 25, students begin September 1, and you’ll finish on June 3, 2027.

Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
- Previous school-based SLPA experience preferred
- Comfortable managing a caseload of 28-30 children ages 7-8
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, staff, and families
- Dependability and a proactive, student-focused approach
- Preference for in-person work (teletherapy is not preferred)
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct therapy and support services to elementary students as directed by supervising SLPs
- Assist in preparing, organizing, and adapting therapy materials for student sessions
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and session details
- Communicate professionally and effectively with teachers, staff, and parents
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to support students’ academic and developmental needs
