Through a multi-disciplinary approach, the BHUCC team provides care to clients every day of the week, including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the client's and community's needs.**What You'll Do*** Complete initial assessment/history on all clients entering treatment.* Strategically use assessment information to make an appropriate clinical evaluation of client's current conditions in a timely manner. This includes (but not limited to) making appropriate referrals, consulting with physician, and/or educating the client as appropriate.* Educate client and families on symptoms, medications and side effects.* Provide a welcoming approach towards all clients, visitors and guests from a trauma informed approach.* Collect and maintain information about clients and document interactions within ReDiscover’s designated electronic medical record.* Communicate and collaborate with an internal multi-disciplinary team to address various aspects of wellness and ensure positive communication regarding the coordination of client care.**Requirements of the Position*** Availability to work a **Part-Time - 36/Hour work week schedule, (12/Hour Shifts - (3) days a week, weekend day shift only twice a month)** + **Clinic operates 7-days a week from 9:00am to 9:00pm)*** Graduation from an accredited nursing program.* Active Missouri license as a Registered Nurse (or the ability to practice as an RN in the state of Missouri).* At least two (2) years clinical experience in a direct service provision in a mental health setting preferred.* Knowledge of the community resources as well as health and social service systems in the Kansas City metro area and skill in establishing working relationships with community partners preferred.* Excellent customer service skills with a recovery focus.* Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.* Intermediate computer skills in typing/keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as use of email.**Grow With Us**We’re committed to your professional development and will support your growth as a Nurse through training, collaboration, and meaningful work.**Ready to join a team that’s passionate about people?
