Job Overview TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel position in Wausau, Wisconsin. Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 06/01/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Responsibilities As an IR Tech, you will be responsible for operating fluoroscopic equipment and assisting physicians with minimally invasive, image‑guided procedures. Tasks include: Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, explain procedures to patients and provide reassurance and support as needed. Assist in scrubbing diagnostic and interventional procedures. Monitor patient during all procedures. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards, devices, and techniques to maintain safeguards. Show knowledge of anatomy and physiology relevant to IR procedures. Operate IV and dye injector pumps. Maintain accurate patient records. Use the McKesson PACS system. Qualifications Minimum of 1 year recent acute care experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist. Current BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification; state‑specific licensing when required. Vascular Interventional certification preferred.
