Join us on this meaningful journey where your skills, compassion and dedication will make a remarkable difference in the lives of those we serve.How you'll contributeA Health Information Management Senior Clerk who excels in this role:Performs a range of clerical duties related to the support of operations of the physician practice including updating and organizing information on the unit; coordinating work within the unit and with other units and departments; reporting relevant information to the supervisor; and responding to inquiries and requests from patients, visitors and caregivers.Facilitates communications among caregivers, patients and visitors to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information.Performs all clerical/computer functions to support patient care delivery.Coordinates daily patient flow activities.Stocks unit with office and medical supplies and prepares requisitions to maintain inventory levels.Answers the telephone in a professional manner and directs calls or takes messages.Faxes and photocopies information as requested by staff.Performs other duties as assigned.What we're looking forEducation:High school diploma or equivalent preferred.Associate's degree preferredSkills:Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.Schedule: Full-timeWhy join usWe believe that investing in our employees is the first step to providing excellent patient care.
