As a driving unarmed Security Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers, associates, and visitors. You will respond to security-related concerns, communicate clearly, and deliver service with integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to shoppers, visitors, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail sales floor, entrances, parking areas, receiving areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and policy concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, or maintenance concerns to appropriate store personnel and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Support a welcoming retail environment by providing directions, assisting with de-escalation when appropriate, and maintaining professional communication with shoppers and staff.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
