Cardiology - Interventional Physician

We are seeking a Board Certified Interventional Cardiologist for a locum opportunity in Fenton, Missouri, beginning November 2026. This assignment offers a concentrated schedule of approximately one week per month with inpatient rounding, interventional procedures, and call coverage.

Schedule
- Five 8-hour shifts per week
- 7:00 AM 3:00 PM
- One night of call
- Weekend call required
- Two gratis hours
Practice Setting
- Acute care hospital
- Inpatient Interventional Cardiology
- Adult patients 18+
- Epic EMR
- Inpatient rounding and call coverage
Patient Volume
- Approximately 9 patients daily
- Census may reach approximately 15 depending on volume and physician coverage
Procedures
- Left heart catheterization
- Right heart catheterization
- PCI
- TEE
- Loop procedures
Support Staff
- APP support during daytime inpatient coverage
- APP support for weekend rounding
- RN Navigator
Requirements
- Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology
- Interventional Cardiology fellowship required
- Active Missouri license or qualifying compact/IMLC licensure
- ACLS & BLS required
- Epic experience required
Credentialing & Submission
- CV must list education and employment in MM/YY MM/YY format
- Employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained
- Background issues require first- and third-party documentation

An experienced Interventional Cardiologist interested in a one-week-per-month locum schedule who is comfortable combining inpatient rounding, cath lab procedures, and weekend/overnight call.
