Tech - X-ray/Rad Tech

Job Summary:


The Interventional Radiology/Cardiology Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety. This role collaborates closely with medical teams to support complex vascular and cardiac interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Operate fluoroscopic and radiographic imaging systems during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Perform image post-processing and ensure timely transmission to PACS.
• Prepare the procedure room, verify equipment functionality, and set optimal imaging parameters.
• Assist physicians as a scrub technologist by organizing sterile supplies and anticipating procedural needs.
• Record hemodynamic data, monitor physiological systems, and document procedural details accurately.
• Support patient preparation, positioning, and monitoring throughout the procedure.

Qualifications:

• Current Oregon State licensure issued by OBMI and ARRT certification (RT(R)).
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications, with renewal within 6 months of hire.
• At least one year of experience in Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab settings.
• Strong knowledge of fluoroscopy, vascular anatomy, and procedural protocols.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse patient populations.
• Bilingual (English-Spanish) skills preferred.
