Kiln Operator 1st Shift

Essential Functions Build loads for kilns by properly balancing saggers. Place fire check keys in appropriate places for lab analysis. Run all thermal equipment, including wax binder and PK furnace, according to procedure. Set time and temperature parameters using standard programs; monitor temperature charts and notify engineering if out of specification. Correctly load and unload cores. Assist with minor equipment maintenance. Visually inspect cores for defects. Report all problems to supervision, maintenance, or engineering as required. Follow and adhere to all safety procedures. Other duties as assigned by supervision. Required Skills Ability to work in a team‑oriented environment. Good written and verbal communication skills. Self‑directed to accomplish goals with minimal supervision. Experience & Education High school education preferred. Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
