Senior Java Engineer

Salary: $130,000 - 180,000 per year Requirements: We need 7+ years of hands-on Java development experience. We need experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, and SQL. We need strong API design skills. We need comfort working in Agile environments and using AI-assisted development tools. A BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience is preferred. Front-end experience with modern UI frameworks is a plus. Responsibilities: We will have the Sr. Java Engineer support a large-scale infrastructure modernization effort. In the first 90 days, the person will get up to speed on our hybrid infrastructure and Java 8–25 codebase and begin contributing to our REST APIs and Spring Boot services. During the first year, the person will help consolidate services, strengthen reliability, and improve throughput as part of our modernization project. Over the longer term, the person will take ownership of our licensing and cryptography systems that support digital goods delivery to millions of users.
