Cyber Security Analyst

Responsibilities We are seeking a motivated and inquisitive Cyber Security Analyst to join one of our client’s teams. In this role, you will support a wide range of cybersecurity initiatives, including documentation, process development, security monitoring, and awareness programs. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience across multiple security domains while building strong technical and analytical skills. This position is ideal for an early‑career professional who is eager to learn and grow under the guidance of an experienced cybersecurity specialist. It is a long‑term contract opportunity based in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience/certifications Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, ITIL, or similar are a plus Experience with assisting in developing and delivering monthly security awareness communications and training Experience in monitoring and analyzing alerts from SIEM, EDR, and related systems to identify potential threats Assist with triage and escalation of security events Exposure to ticketing systems and basic case management workflows Participate in incident response activities, including documentation, evidence gathering, and reporting Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on‑call rotation as needed to support incident response and critical security events.
