Registered Nurse - Cardiac Telemetry

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) with weekend coverage every other weekend, subject to change based on need.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide care for inpatient adults with actual or potential life-threatening multisystem or cardiac conditions. The role includes managing cardiovascular diagnoses such as sepsis, myocardial infarction, unstable angina, and coronary artery disease, as well as patients receiving IV antiarrhythmic therapy, vasoactive infusions, and anticoagulation.

Responsibilities

• Administration of vasoactive drugs and antiarrhythmic therapies
• Monitoring and interpreting cardiac telemetry and ECGs
• Conducting non-invasive blood pressure monitoring
• Performing defibrillation and cardioversion as needed
• Conducting thoracentesis procedures

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current South Carolina RN license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• At least 1 year of EPIC experience is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience preferred.
