Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. The candidate must have three years of experience in a large volume ED with high acuity patients and must not be a first-time traveler. Required qualifications include certifications in ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medications using barcode scanning.
• Manage medication drips and blood product administration.
• Triage patients and set up chest tubes, art lines.
• Assist with trauma and code cases, splinting, bipap/vents.
• Provide care to a range of patients from neonate to geriatric.
• Participate in weekend rotations with flexibility.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a large volume ED with high acuity patients.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC.
• Experience with Epic EMR system and Point of Care Labs preferred.
• Pediatric emergency medicine experience is highly preferred.
