Opportunity: Board Certified - Obstetrics and Gynecology Job Details: Locum Tenens opportunity providing ongoing call coverage support across three Michigan locations: Gaylord, Cadillac, and Charlevoix - coverage of all three sites is required Coverage needed approximately 3 to 6 days per month with 24-hour call shifts running 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. 100% inpatient and hospital-based practice setting in a rural environment Average daily patient volume of 2 to 5 patients depending on census and acuity Must be comfortable practicing independently in a rural inpatient setting with minimal supervision Manage routine vaginal deliveries and perform cesarean sections Manage obstetric emergencies with broad scope OB/GYN experience Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required Active Michigan Medical License required at time of submission - candidates requiring licensure will not be considered Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, PALS, EFM, NRP, and DEA Clean malpractice history required with no exceptions EMR system: Oracle Estimated credentialing timeframe of 90 days; temporary privileges available Lodging, mileage reimbursement at IRS rate, and rental car provided Michigan residents preferred Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
