Job Title: Data Engineer (PL/SQL, Informatica, Shell scripting)


Duration: 12 months extendable contract


Location : Dallas,TX | Westlake,TX - Onsite


Job Description -


7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
Expert-level knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL (Stored Procedures, Functions, packages, triggers)
Expert-level knowledge of writing complex SQL queries using Oracle
Working exp with scripting and automation using Unix and Python
Eperience with Informatica Power Center
Conceptual knowledge of Data Modeling and Data Warehousing
Good knowledge of Oracle


Job Duties


BI Reporting tools experience (OBIEE and Power BI or Tableau)
Financial Services Industry exp strongly preferred. SPecific to workplace investing and or Stock PLan Services domain.

Desired Skills & Experience

• "Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a technology related field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, etc.) required 10+ years of hands-on experience in Data engineering, data warehousing and analytics technologies
• Expert-level knowledge of writing complex SQL queries using Oracle.
• Expert-level knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL (Stored Procedures, Functions, packages, triggers)
• Strong working experience in ETL tools like Informatica (Power Center)
• Working experience in scripting and automation using Unix, Python in a Data Engineering environment.
• Extensive experience with Relational Databases like Oracle including being able to implement performance tuning techniques
• Strong working knowledge of Datawarehousing patterns and Dimensional Modelling techniques using Oracle.
• Experience building scalable patterns for data integration in a cloud-based as well as on-prem environments
• Working knowledge of Batch scheduling tools like Control-M, Autosys.
• Experience with business intelligence and analytics tools such as OBIEE/OAS
• Working experience using GitHUB for Source Code Management (SCM) in a Data Engineering Practice.
• Experience working on projects in an Agile environment
